-remember that you have a new hairdo that is vastly different from the one you had. So don't be alarmed when people say "WOW-when did you do that?"
-don't feed your kids popcorn just after you vacuum.
-not remembering every last name that your kids have given to all their toys makes for tears and stinkeye.
-when the initial excitement over an upcoming interstate trip wears off, the reality of flying with 3 children and no husband sets in....

I feel your pain with the travel- haven`t had to do it with my son yet but in November we will be embarking on a 9 hour journey back home by ourselves. Luckily my hub will be there for the return trip!
Friends here (in Japan) swear by the fun pack- ie, a little back pack stuffed full of plane appropriate toys and games like colouring, cards, origami, mini books and more! What is best if they do not know what is in the bag before you go- so it can all be surprises!
